Prof. Bali studied the intricacies of music under the guidance of Sangeet MahaMaho Upadhayay Pt. Dilip Chanderji Vedi and Bharat Ratna and Padma Vibhushan Pt. Bhimsen Ji Joshi. He has expertise in Dhrupad, Dhamar, Khayal, Thumri and Tappa. He holds the formal degrees of Sangeet Alankaar from Gandharv Mahavidhyalay Mandal - Pune, Prabhakar from Punjab University and BA from University of Jammu and Kashmir. Now Swar Kala Sangam is managed by Prof. Bali's Daughter and disciple - Ms. Mukta Mehta. She is a qualified music professional with MA in Music and Gold Medalist in Music from Jammu University. Now Swar Kala Sangam provides Music Class (indian classical music class, carnatic music class, ghazal music class, bhajan class, folk music class, bollywood music class, western music class and more), Dance Class (kathak class, bharatnatyam class, manipuri dance class, odissi dance class), Art Class (Drawing, Oil Painting, Acrylic Painting and sketching), Instrument classes (Guitar class, Piano Class, Tabla Class, Sitar Class, Flute Class, Harmonium class and more)
